  • Zoom Meeting

The ICA Public Policy and Legislation Committee addresses the following areas:

  • IDOPL Rules and Regulations for therapists
  • State Law and proposed changes for therapist
  • Any other state policy relating to counseling
  • Reviewing national policy changes that might relate to Idaho

This meeting will be held over zoom on the first Friday of each month at 12:00pm.  Zoom link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82384406801

Committee Code of Conduct:

All attendees of the meeting are expected to act in accordance with the following:

  • Act with honesty and integrity: 
    • Be open and transparent in your dealings
    • Use the power of your position responsibly
    • Ensure that any possible conflict of interest is disclosed or avoided
    • Strive to earn and sustain public trust and the trust of the ICA Membership
  • Act in good faith in the best interests of the association
    • Demonstrate accountability in your actions
    • Accept responsibility for your decisions
    • avoid activities that may bring you or the association into disrepute
    • Act in a financially responsible manner in considering what is best for the association and the members
  • Act fairly and impartially
    • Avoid bias, discrimination or self-interest
    • Demonstrate respect for others by acting in a professional and courteous manner
    • Harassment and verbal aggression will not be tolerated
  • Comply with all Governance Rules 
    • Take time to read the Bylaws and Policies and Procedures of ICA and consider how they relate to your role in this committee
    • Follow the values and mission of ICA
    • Remain in compliance of the ACA Code of Ethics

The objective of the Code of Conduct is to ensure that high standards are maintained for individuals and members representing the association.
