Participation in our Graduate Student Poster Presentations allows opportunity for current research to be evaluated and displayed as well as to receive feedback from professionals across the state.
The poster session will be available for viewing all day on Friday with a one hour time block during unopposed program time for formal presentations. All conference attendees will have opportunity to discuss the research with students during this time.

Every participant will be recognized at the Awards Luncheon, but there are also three categories from which participants can be awarded. You will be judged according to three categories of awards:

Certificate of Excellence
• One (1) Awardee • The overall winner • $100 cash award • Must attend an Idaho university
|
|
Certificate of Honor
• One (1) Awardee from each University – up to Four (4) Awards possible • Top winner from their university • $50 cash award • Must attend an Idaho university |

Certificate of Distinction
• Awarded to all other participants, including out of state presenters |

Presentations will be judged on the following categories:
~ Apparent knowledge of subject matter ~ Innovation ~ Quality of briefing (clarity, organization, communication skills, responsiveness, etc.) ~ Quality of poster (appearance, depth of coverage, organization, etc.) ~ Focus and objectives (objectives clearly stated, clear focus) ~ Application value (relavance to counseling clearly articulated) |
